Tony La Russa Chicago White Sox Mngr Partial Success - 21 août 2021 Sent a LOR, a SASE, & 3 cards ('88 & '90 Topps, large 5" x 7" 10 of diamonds playing card). The 10 of diamonds was returned signed in blue ink but he DNS either Topps cards. I was surprised since normally players will sign one of their trading cards before a playing card. I would of preferred having even just 1 of the Topps cards signed but still happy to have received something back signed versus having nothing signed! At some point I might try sending some cards along with a donation to his animal rescue foundation and see if he will sign them then.
